A large number of base stations are supplying the most part of Luxembourg with radio coverage. Country-wide communication and the transmission of text messages as well as positioning data are thus immediately possible without much effort. It requires the necessary terminals at the desired locations or on their way to go there. The DMR network offers capacities for smaller local calls as well as for nationwide transmissions.

As the network is in daily operation, it becomes easily accessible in an emergency situation.
